Job summary

Staffmark is seeking an IT Director to shape enterprise technology strategy, lead infrastructure and cybersecurity, and build a high-performing IT organization. This leadership role offers autonomy to translate vision into scalable business results and to partner with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will own multi-year roadmaps, drive cloud adoption (AWS/Azure), oversee ERP/CRM/WMS systems, manage budgets, and mentor IT leaders while communicating complex concepts to non-technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• MBA or master's degree in information systems preferred.
• CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Cisco, Microsoft, or Azure certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with business growth.
• Lead IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, hardware, and enterprise systems.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage IT leaders and technology staff.
• Establish cybersecurity protocols and oversee technology risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and security requirements.
• Manage the annual IT budget, technology investments, and procurement.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee technology partnerships.
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Partner with department leaders to identify and address technology needs.
• Optimize system performance, operational reliability, and user satisfaction.

IT Director Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required

IT Director Skills + Experience Requirements

• 710+ years of progressive information technology experience.
• 35+ years of IT leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, ERP, CRM, WMS, and Shopify systems.
• Strong cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy compliance knowledge.
• IT budgeting, technology procurement, and vendor contract negotiation experience.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently and lead technology initiatives with autonomy.
