Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Director of Enterprise Applications & Analytics to lead the organization’s ERP, CRM, BI, and data platforms, driving unified data strategy and secure, integrated solutions.

You will partner with executives to align technology investments with business goals, oversee due diligence and integrations during M&A, and manage a multi-site, high-performing team responsible for deployment, governance, and reporting excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise applications, business systems, and analytics functions.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise-scale programs.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, private equity-backed, or multi-site organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading ERP, CRM, BI, and enterprise application implementations.
  • Proven experience leading technology integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Understanding of data architecture, business intelligence, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, middleware, APIs, and data migration methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform project portfolio management and change management expertise.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and lifecycle management of key platforms (ERP, CRM, HCM, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing).
  • Establish standards for integration, security, governance, and architecture.
  • Manage vendors, licensing, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead data strategy, data warehousing, BI, and reporting capabilities (e.g., dashboards, self-service analytics).
  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Enforce data governance, quality, and stewardship while leveraging advanced analytics.
  • Conduct IT due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships.
  • Design and execute integration roadmaps, data migrations, master data harmonization, and ERP consolidations.
  • Capture operational synergies and cost savings while minimizing business disruption.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing IT and analytics team.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project prioritization.
  • Act as a trusted partner to executives, translating business objectives into scalable tech solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Job description

The Director of Enterprise Applications & Analytics provides strategic leadership, governance, implementation, optimization, and support for the organization's enterprise business systems and data analytics platforms. This role oversees the entire enterprise application portfolio—including ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, and other critical business systems—while driving a unified data strategy, robust reporting, and advanced analytics capabilities to enable operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.

Partnering closely with executive and functional business leaders, the Director aligns technology investments with overarching business objectives, leads key digital transformation initiatives, and ensures scalable, secure, and integrated technical solutions. Additionally, this role serves as a key operational leader for technology integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions (M&A), directing application rationalization, data migration, process harmonization, and post-acquisition system consolidation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise applications, business systems, and analytics functions. 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise-scale programs. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, private equity-backed, or multi-site organizations. Demonstrated experience leading ERP, CRM, BI, and enterprise application implementations. Proven experience leading technology integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions. Understanding of data architecture, business intelligence, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions. Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform project portfolio management and change management expertise. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar enterprise technologies. Knowledge of data governance frameworks and modern data platforms. PMP, ITIL, Agile, Six Sigma, or relevant certifications.
