Job summary

Kowalski Companies in Woodbury, MN, is seeking a full-time, on-site software developer to join our team. This role focuses on building and maintaining web applications using PHP and Drupal in a collaborative, family-owned environment.

With 5+ years of hands-on experience, you will contribute to full-stack development, work with databases and ORM tools, and collaborate on DevOps basics. Preference for Angular/Typescript frontend and .NET/C# backend; PowerShell or Python scripting is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with PHP and Drupal is required.
• Intermediate full-stack web development skills.
• Knowledge of databases and an ORM.
• Intermediate DevOps knowledge and setup.
• A willingness to learn online marketing/analytics.

Job Requirements

This job is fully on-site at our Woodbury location.

• Experience with PHP and Drupal is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the field of software development. Must be self-driven, take directions and work your schedule to those needs.
• Intermediate full-stack web development skills.
• Knowledge of databases and an appropriate ORM.
• Intermediate knowledge of Dev Op principals and setup. The Kowalski’s IT team is available to assist, if needed.
• A preexisting knowledge or willingness to learn online marketing/analytics is appreciated.
• As time allows, working on additional development projects.

Preferred stack is Angular/Typescript frontend and .NET/C# backend.

Scripting with PowerShell/Python is a bonus as well.
