Job summary

Knorr Marketing is seeking a skilled web developer to join our growing team. You will work on enterprise eCommerce websites and backend scripts to connect with third parties for inventory and services.

The role is back-end focused, requiring solid code discipline and collaboration with teammates to optimize and extend our proprietary platform. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of coding across multiple languages, 3+ years SQL experience, familiarity with AWS, and strong problem solving and teamwork

Qualifications

• 3+ years coding across multiple languages.
• 3+ years SQL database experience.
• AWS familiarity or certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of web/server security best practices.
• Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.
• Knowledge of server communication methods (FTP, REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum High School Diploma; degree or experience in Web Development.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Web Developers are responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise eCommerce websites and applications built on a proprietary platform. You will be developing additional scripts to connect to third parties for the purposes of inventory collection or other services as deemed necessary. Developers must understand the importance of organized and efficient code, you will be working alongside team members to optimize, enhance, and build upon our current website foundation. This position is back-end focused with server-side logic.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of coding experience in at least 3 different programming languages

• 3+ years of SQL database experience

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or certification in AWS

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of web/server security methods and best practices

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming

• Knowledge of server communication methods such as FTP, RESTful API, SOAP

• Working knowledge of Git for version control

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to continue learning/expanding knowledge of industry standards

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box

• Minimum High School Diploma

• Degree: Web Development Certification, Associates Degree in Web Development or Computer Science OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
