Addison Group is seeking a seasoned .NET Developer to join a collaborative technology team in Oklahoma. You will design, develop, test, and deploy applications using C# and .NET across APIs, integrations, and databases in an Agile setting.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of professional software development experience with strong C#/.NET skills, relational databases, REST APIs, and modern UI via Blazor Server. Excellent problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, or comparable development frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases and API development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with source control and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 / hour depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-5pm

Job Description:

The IT Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy applications using C# and modern .NET technologies. This role will work across application development, API development, integrations, databases, and distributed systems while partnering with technical and business teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead software development projects from initial requirements through deployment.
• Provide technical direction and support to other developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience required; 5–7 years preferred.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, or comparable development frameworks.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience developing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software.
• Knowledge of application performance, scalability, security, logging, debugging, and error handling.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with messaging, middleware, enterprise integrations, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall development methodologies.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Details:

• Experience with RabbitMQ, cloud platforms, containers, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture is a plus.
• Utility or energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
• This role involves working with complex enterprise applications and integrations.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require.
