Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide end-user support across all offices and remote locations. The role requires at least 5 years of IT support experience in mid-to-large organizations, primarily in a Microsoft Windows environment with Office 365 and Azure.

You will install and configure hardware/software, migrate data, build for new hires, manage Active Directory/Entra accounts, and handle Zendesk tickets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT helpdesk/desktop support experience in mid-to-large organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Office 365; strong knowledge of Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra and Zendesk ticketing system.
• Excellent customer service, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 1–2 months periodically to regional offices and job sites.

Responsibilities

Overview

Brinkmann Constructors is hiring an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide support for end users across all offices and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience providing IT support for mid-to-large sized organizations. Environment is primarily a Microsoft Windows environment utilizing Office 365 and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral for end users
• Upgrading laptop computers, including migrating user data
• Build and configuration of equipment for new hires
• Creating new user accounts in Active Directory/Entra
• Provide end user technical support in a timely manner
• Maintain support requests in ZenDesk ticketing system
• Assist with mobile device upgrades and new deployments
• Maintain Asset tracking
• Periodic travel to Brinkmann regional offices and Job Sites

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree, technical training or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Microsoft Windows 10/11 support

Working Conditions:

• The IT Desktop Supports work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
• This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
• Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
• Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
