Job summary

Ergonomic Group is seeking a Junior IT Configuration Technician to join our growing team. You’ll gain hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking, and enterprise technology while working onsite five days a week at customer locations in Westchester, NY and Danbury, CT.

We value curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn, with mentorship from experienced engineers to guide your growth in enterprise IT deployments and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or student in technical training seeking hands-on IT experience.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Northeast for deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and test desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Perform system imaging, provisioning, and deployment of end-user devices.
• Ensure equipment is configured according to security and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues before deployment.
• Help prepare customer systems for successful rollouts and installations.
• Travel to customer locations in the Northeast to assist with deployments and installations.
• Collaborate with engineers on projects and technology rollouts.
