Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Associate Director – IT Systems Delivery Lead in Houston to supervise and align multiple programs for new API manufacturing facilities. You will drive cross-team integration, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance while balancing budgets and timelines.

The role requires 10+ years in program management within pharma, strong communication with senior leadership, and a deep business understanding of manufacturing and process engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program or portfolio management, overseeing multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc).
• Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale programs from design to delivery at a greenfield site.
• Oversee release train process with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Determine when to apply Agile or Waterfall approaches to manage timelines and resources.
• Ensure all projects adhere to GxP standards and regulatory compliance.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels and provide regular status updates.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to drive program success.
• Allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity and performance.
• Generate and present reports on progress, metrics, and outcomes.
