Job summary

YipitData is seeking an IT Delivery Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the internal IT environment from their New York City headquarters. This hybrid role requires three days at the NYC office per week.

You will administer Kandji, Jamf, Intune, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom and lead automation initiatives across Security, Engineering, and Operations to boost reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering MDM/endpoint management platforms (Kandji, Jamf, or Intune) and core SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom).
• Led or contributed to IT infrastructure or platform improvement projects — not just ticket queues.
• Look for opportunities to automate and build tooling rather than repeat manual work.
• Capable of owning ambiguous problems end to end in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Security, Engineering, and Operations.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role based in our New York City headquarters. Employees are expected to work from the NYC office three days per week.

As Our IT Delivery Engineer, You Will:

• Design, implement, and maintain the systems and platforms that support the company’s internal IT environment
• Administer and troubleshoot SaaS platforms and endpoint management systems including Kandji, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and other core business tools
• Manage and improve device management and endpoint configuration across the global fleet using MDM platforms
• Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet company security and compliance standards
• Lead and contribute to IT infrastructure and service delivery improvement projects that increase system reliability and operational efficiency
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance IT service delivery, system management, and automation
• Develop automation and tooling to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows
• Maintain accurate system configuration and asset data to support operational visibility and audits
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, Security, Engineering, and Operations to improve the scalability and reliability of internal systems

You Are Likely To Succeed If

• You have 4+ years of experience in a modern IT, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure role supporting a distributed workforce
• You have hands-on experience administering MDM/endpoint management platforms (Kandji, Jamf, or Intune) and core SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom)
• You have led or made significant contributions to IT infrastructure or platform improvement projects — not just ticket queues
• You look for opportunities to automate and build tooling rather than repeat manual work
• You are comfortable owning ambiguous problems end to end in a fast-paced, global environment
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and partner well across Security, Engineering, and Operations
• You are motivated by measurable improvements to system reliability, operational efficiency, and employee experience

• The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be$112,500 / year. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.

This role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid work arrangement, with an expectation to work from our NYC headquarters three days per week.
