GALLO is seeking an IT Data Intern to help turn data into insights that support the company’s wine and beverage business. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, business analytics, and developer/programmer opportunities while working with leading technology.

In this paid summer internship, you will collaborate with teams across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, and R&D to answer business questions, improve reporting, and drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in one of the listed fields.
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Capable of working with data in Python, R and SQL.
• Familiar with advanced statistical concepts such as random forests, ensemble methods, KNN, K-Means.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, R&D) to answer business questions and improve reporting.
• Support data-driven decision-making and data services through project rotations across Application Development, Business Analysis, and Data Services.
• Turn data into actionable insights to support the world's largest family-owned winery.
