Job summary

As a functional SME, you will gather requirements, configure D365 SCM modules, lead testing and UAT, generate reports and dashboards with Power BI, and partner with IT and business teams to implement

Overview

An established organization is seeking an experienced D365 Supply Chain Analyst to support and optimize business processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This role is critical to ensuring efficient procurement, inventory, planning, and order management operations across the business.

What you'll do

• Analyze, document, and improve end-to-end supply chain processes within D365 SCM.
• Serve as a functional subject matter expert for D365 Supply Chain Management.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Configure and support D360 SCM modules and functionality.
• Analyze supply chain data and identify opportunities to improve inventory, planning, procurement, and operational performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with technical teams and Microsoft support when required.
• Create functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support D360 implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Work with developers and technical teams to ensure functional requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
• Monitor system performance and data quality and recommend corrective actions.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to supply chain operations.
• Provide production support and assist users with D360-related questions and issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management capabilities and Microsoft release updates.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, planning, warehousing, and order management.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional system requirements.
• Experience with ERP implementation, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of D360 Finance processes and cost management module.
• Experience administrating role security.
• Awareness of ISVs and how they integrate.
• Demonstrated experience in most SCM modules.
• D360 inquiries and reporting.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain processes and modules experience with Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Inventory.
• Product information management experience.
• Experience with inventory dimensions.
• Experience with BOMs, Routes, Resources.
• Advanced Warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 2-3 deployments as a key part of the implementation team.
• Demonstrated functional ownership of modules within the system.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze transaction data to diagnose issues.
• Experience with data conversions.
• Ability to write well-structured documentation (process steps and test scripts).
