The Patent and Trademark Office seeks a cybersecurity professional in the Cybersecurity Authorizations and Compliance Branch to support IT privacy, policy compliance, and information security across USPTO systems.
Qualified applicants have specialized experience with risk management, security assessments, and cloud security controls, and meet OPM IT Management Series 2210 requirements. This is a federal full-time position located in Alexandria, VA.
This position is located in the Cybersecurity Authorizations and Compliance Branch (CACB). CACB supports the implementation and continuous monitoring for compliance with IT privacy policies, Federal Information Processing Standards, and privacy requirements for all information technology used in support of the USPTO.
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
