Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Information Technology 3 to lead an integrated IT and Cybersecurity team at the Linthicum, MD campus. The role focuses on executing IT operations for classified programs, ensuring RMF and JSIG compliance, and aligning with government security requirements.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse team, drive performance metrics, and collaborate with program leaders to deliver secure, reliable services in a high-stakes, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, or Master's with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years of experience.
• Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or CE enrollment) within the last 6 years.
• Ability to be cleared to SAP/SAR as a condition of continued employment.
• Prior experience leading IT/Cyber support in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of ownership and accountability for a high performing team.
• Develop and execute strategic IT and Cybersecurity plans.
• Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting classified program execution.
• Manage technical staff responsible for infrastructure, end-user support, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Drive timely resolution of operational issues affecting mission and program performance.
• Provide mentorship and professional development for managers and new leaders.
