Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Executes day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance of IT systems.
  • May assist in the absence of the IT Manager and handle emergencies.
  • Plan and coordinate IT installation and development projects.
  • Develop and maintain operating policies and procedures for IT.
  • Assist with software, hardware and service updates/requests.
  • Address security threats for information systems and networks.
  • Monitor corporate system enhancements (e.g., Office 365).
  • Maintain the Asset Management system and device provisioning.

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is financing, developing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 26-mile I-77 Express project as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The tolled express lanes run adjacent to the general-purpose lanes on I-77 between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. I-77 Mobility Partners is responsible for operations and maintenance of all lanes, both express and general purpose, and right of way within the designated project corridor limits.

Job Description

About the role:

The IT Coordinator- Contractor will be the liaison between local system users and corporate network support or any others IT support teams. The IT Coordinator will also assist the IT Manager in implementing and executing information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business, computer services, network communications, toll operations (including, but not limited to, electronic toll operations), and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. This position will also be assisting and coordinating any changes to the IT Infrastructure and Corporate Services deployed at the data center and administrative buildings, as well as network communications throughout the project. This position is expect to last no more than 6 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advises the IT Manager or CIO on the general operation of the IT Systems
  • Executes day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance of the IT Systems
  • May assist in the absence of the IT Manager, manage emergency situations related to IT
  • Assists with planning and coordinating any IT installation and development project
  • Assists with developing and /or maintaining operating policies and procedures for the Information Technology Department
  • Assist with software, hardware and service updates /requests.
  • Acts on threats associated with the security of information systems, communication lines and equipment
  • Stays abreast of corporate level system enhancements (e.g., Office 365) by monitoring the company intranet
  • Maintains the company Asset Management system
  • Maintain the company Cellular accounts and with appropriate approval provision new devices.

Education & Experience
  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field, Bachelor's preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in basic computer and network environments within a business setting

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
