Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks an IT Coordinator- Contractor to act as the liaison between local users and corporate IT support. The role supports IT strategy implementation and coordinates IT infrastructure updates for toll operations and data centers.

This contract position is expected to last up to 6 months with no medical benefits. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in CS or related field and 1+ year in computer/network environments, with strong MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Advises IT Manager or CIO on general operation of IT Systems.
  • Executes day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance of IT Systems.
  • May assist in absence of IT Manager and manage IT emergencies.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating IT installation and development projects.
  • Maintain operating policies and procedures for IT Department.
  • Assist with software, hardware and service updates/requests.
  • Address security threats to information systems and communications.
  • Monitor corporate enhancements (Office 365) via intranet.
  • Maintain the company Asset Management system.
  • Manage cellular accounts and provision new devices with approvals.

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is financing, developing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 26-mile I-77 Express project as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The tolled express lanes run adjacent to the general-purpose lanes on I-77 between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. Job Description:

About the role:

The IT Coordinator- Contractor will be the liaison between local system users and corporate network support or any others IT support teams. The IT Coordinator will also assist the IT Manager in implementing and executing information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business, computer services, network communications, toll operations (including, but not limited to, electronic toll operations), and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. This position will also be assisting and coordinating any changes to the IT Infrastructure and Corporate Services deployed at the data center and administrative buildings, as well as network communications throughout the project. This position is expect to last no more than 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advises the IT Manager or CIO on the general operation of the IT Systems
  • Executes day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance of the IT Systems
  • May assist in the absence of the IT Manager, manage emergency situations related to IT
  • Assists with planning and coordinating any IT installation and development project
  • Assists with developing and /or maintaining operating policies and procedures for the Information Technology Department
  • Assist with software, hardware and service updates /requests.
  • Acts on threats associated with the security of information systems, communication lines and equipment
  • Stays abreast of corporate level system enhancements (e.g., Office 365) by monitoring the company intranet
  • Maintains the company Asset Management system
  • Maintain the company Cellular accounts and with appropriate approval provision new devices.

Education & Experience:
