Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineering Section Manager to lead engineering activities for IT Cooling solutions supporting the growing data center market.

This leadership role requires strong expertise in data center cooling, thermal management, HVAC, or liquid cooling systems and proven experience guiding engineering teams through end-to-end product development. You will oversee design validation, testing, documentation, field issue resolution, and talent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of data center cooling or thermal management design experience.
• 3+ years of management experience or equivalent leadership roles.
• Strong technical expertise in data center cooling, thermal management, HVAC, or liquid cooling systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering activities for IT Cooling products from planning to in-service support.
• Develop, validate, and release new data center cooling products meeting performance and reliability targets.
• Troubleshoot field, supplier, customer, and vendor issues with QA and Product Management.
• Oversee lab testing and on-site evaluations and mentor project leads.
• Lead, coach, and develop IT Cooling Engineering team; support performance reviews.
• Support sales through technical risk assessments and solution scoping.
• Drive configuration management, documentation, and data retention processes.
• Collaborate with overseas R&D offices and suppliers.
