Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. in the United States seeks an IT Risk and Controls Consultant to support a DHS client with IT controls audits, assessments, remediation, and related support. You will help coordinate activities, engage stakeholders, and ensure testing aligns with A-123, FISCAM, and other guidance.

The role involves direct client interaction, developing remediation plans, and working with the team on day-to-day IT controls tasks. Travel up to 10% and a clearance-to-obtain Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT controls, audit, assessment or remediation.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT controls audits/assessments using industry guidance and leading practices.
• Conduct walkthrough interviews and communicate with client stakeholders.
• Review artifacts such as security plans, SOPs, system configurations.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls and document results.
• Summarize findings to senior leadership and assist in remediation planning.
