Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking an IT Advisory Manager to lead stakeholder engagement and the technical delivery of IT controls assessments and program evaluations for federal agencies.

You will analyze control weaknesses, identify root causes, and develop remediation plans while coordinating with client personnel, system admins, and senior leadership. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with DoD 8570.01-M certification addressed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• 6+ years in IT risk and controls consulting, esp. for federal clients.
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800 series, and FISCAM.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M (IAT III) cert within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT security auditors performing IT risk and controls assessments.
• Perform rigorous assessments of IT controls using industry guidance.
• Conduct walkthrough interviews and coordinate with client stakeholders.
• Review artifacts (security plans, SOPs, system configs) for testing.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Document test results so they can be replicated and reviewed.
• Summarize findings to senior client leadership and plan remediation.
• Plan and manage day-to-day IT controls assessment activities.
• Provide SME support on IT controls and respond to ad-hoc requests.
