Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an IT Advisory Manager to lead IT risk and controls engagements for federal agencies from our McLean office. You will manage audits, coordinate with senior client staff, and drive remediation planning to strengthen IT controls.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of IT risk/controls consulting, strong knowledge of FISMA/NIST guidance, and ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT III certification. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance required with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or business-related field.
• 6+ years’ experience providing IT consulting services focused on IT Risk and Controls.
• Experience with federal government clients and guidance (FISMA, NIST SP 800, FISCAM).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT security auditors performing IT risk and controls assessments.
• Perform rigorous assessments of IT controls using industry standards.
• Interacting with client stakeholders including system personnel.
• Review artifacts to support IT controls testing (security plans, SOPs, screenshots).
• Document test results for repeatability and clarity.
• Summarize IT controls results to senior leaders.
