Ulta Beauty in Chicago is seeking an Associate IT Compliance Analyst to support cybersecurity governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across SOX, PCI DSS, and third-party risk. The role involves coordinating with Information Security, IT, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders to drive evidence collection, policy management, and risk remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT compliance, IT audit, risk management, governance, information security, or related technology field.
• Foundational understanding of information security concepts, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT controls.
• Basic knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks such as SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, or similar standards preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing IT compliance programs including SOX and PCI DSS.
• Help identify, document, and track cybersecurity and technology risks.
• Gather evidence for audits and coordinate remediation follow-up activities.
• Maintain information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participate in vendor/third-party risk assessments.
• Support monitoring and validation of IT and cybersecurity controls.
• Collect and analyze governance, risk, and compliance data for reports and dashboards.
• Build relationships with business and technology teams to support compliance initiatives.
