Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital is seeking a Clinical Informatics Nurse to analyze workflows, train users, and support EMR systems across clinic sites. You will collaborate with providers and staff to optimize Meditech Expanse and other clinical software.

Responsibilities include regular visits, staff shadowing, and guiding clinicians to maximize efficient use of technology while maintaining patient care standards. A valid RN or LPN license and travel between clinics are required.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with significant computer knowledge.
• 2+ years experience with physicians in clinic/hospital using Meditech.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00

Hours & Shift Requirements: Full time 40 hours weekly Monday thru Friday. 8 – 5.

Job Description & Requirements

Under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology (IT), the Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for providing system workflow analysis, training, guidance and support for users of Electronic Medical Records gathered and stored in Meditech Expanse and other clinical systems. The Clinical Informatics Nurse performs regular visits, interaction and staff shadowing sessions with physicians and staff in their offices. Works with clinic staff and physicians to get the most out of our computerized solutions with the least amount of effort.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or LPN with significant knowledge of computers.
• Experience with adult education and at least 2 years of experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting using Meditech.
• Highly proficient with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software.
• Current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license and vehicle capable of traveling between clinics on a daily basis.
• Preferred: Extensive Meditech experience, preferably with the Meditech Expanse platform.

Salary will be based on experience.
