Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an IT Client Device Engineer in Minnesota to design, deploy, and manage end-user devices across the healthcare network. The role focuses on automating device provisioning, software deployment, and lifecycle management for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in client device engineering, experience with Intune/MECM/SCCM and JAMF Pro, plus scripting skills (PowerShell).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field.
• Two years' experience in client device engineering or endpoint automation.
• Two years' experience managing deployments with Intune/MECM/SCCM, JAMF Pro or equivalent.
• One year experience troubleshooting advanced client devices (hardware and software).
• Experience scripting in PowerShell.
• Experience with clinical workstations, thin clients, or shared devices.
• Experience managing internally developed software deployments and drivers.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network access control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for provisioning and configuring client devices across the healthcare organization.

• Create, package, and deploy software to ensure scalability with minimal user disruption.
• Manage endpoint platforms such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Maas360.

• Develop and maintain device automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Troubleshoot provisioning, authentication, and application delivery issues.
• Document processes and compliance requirements.
• Participate in on-call support and endpoint incident response.
• Escalate complex endpoint issues affecting clinical operations.

The pay range for this position is $65,800 - $80,000 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an IT Client Device Engineer to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an IT Client Device Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of enterprise-scale automation for client devices across our healthcare organization. This role collaborates with clinical, cybersecurity, and infrastructure groups to ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of all end-user devices, including workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile platforms, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, security, and operational reliability in a clinical environment.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(75%) IT End User Device Deployment

1. Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for provisioning and configuring client devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) across the healthcare organization.
2. Ability to manage gold images, experience with creating and troubleshooting custom task sequences.
3. Create, package, and deploy software using modern tools and techniques to ensure scalability, reliability, and minimal user disruption.
4. Manage and support enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Maas360.
5. Support and plan accordingly for transition of client device automation from MECM/SCCM to InTune.
6. Develop and maintain scripts for device automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device provisioning, authentication, and application delivery.
8. Maintain thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and compliance requirements.
9. Participate in on-call support and assist with endpoint-related incident response as needed.
10. Serve as a key escalation point for complex endpoint issues, including those impacting clinical operations.

(20%) Client Device Automation

1. Ensure alignment of automation solutions with healthcare compliance and cybersecurity standards.
2. Collaborate with clinical IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to define and maintain standardized device images and configurations.
3. Automate key tasks, including patch management, software deployment, and device inventory/reporting.

(5%) Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required:

1. Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other closely related field.
2. Two (2) years' experience in client device engineering or endpoint automation
3. Two (2) years' experience managing enterprise-scale deployments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/MECM/SCCM), JAMF Pro, or equivalent.
4. One (1) year experience in troubleshooting with advanced client devices, both hardware and software troubleshooting
5. Experience in scripting languages, such as PowerShell
6. Experience working with clinical workstations, thin clients, or shared device environments
7. Experience managing deployments and configuration of internally developed software packages
8. Experience managing drivers across a variety of device models and platforms
9. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network access control systems.

Preferred:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other closely related field
2. Two (2) years' experience in client device engineering or endpoint automation in a healthcare or highly regulated environment.
3. Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft InTune, ITIL, Foundation, CompTIA A+
