Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Milwaukee is offering an IT Business Systems Intern position for Summer 2027. You will learn business and D365 processes and work with the IT team to implement Power Platform-based solutions, gaining hands-on software development and process automation experience.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, supporting customers and sales order processing, and participating in Agile cycles to deliver value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and Office 365 development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with workflow design and business process mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, configuring, development and deploying Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Build and automate workflows using Power Automate.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and team projects.
• Conduct testing and validation of app features and data flows.
• Document business processes, user requirements, and technical specifications.
• Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Create and maintain business tools that facilitate proactive decision making, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.
• Analyze/ understand AS-IS & TO-BE model, and be an advocate for change.
