JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY: Serves as the lead stakeholder for a hospital or group of sites within the WFBMC organization. Position is responsible for the daily ITS operations, issues, communication, prioritization, and client satisfaction within that functional site. Works closely with all areas of Information Technology and Services to ensure that the levels of effort, timeliness, and resources are expended for the projects within the area, tracking the progress of those projects and ensuring constant communication with the customer and the leadership of Information Technology and Services. Serves as the resident expert of designated area of responsibility and should be able to assist the ITX Executive team when planning projects for budget or for counsel when there is question of how ITS performance is being executed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration or related field and five plus years of relevant technical or business work experience

CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Valid driver's license. ITIL V3 Foundations recommended. Project management certification preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides business analysis services, based on a deep understanding of relevant business area(s), to recommend solutions, process changes and build requirements while understanding technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
  • Work with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements, and then manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
  • Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, process flows, and journey maps.
  • Seeks ways to drive adoption of new technology and reuse existing technology for enabling business capabilities, value streams and business processes as well as identifying and assisting in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business processes.
  • Provides internal consultancy services to business leaders, business units and lines of business, helping them with design thinking, business modeling, ecosystem modeling, investment analysis, and operating model design.
  • Collaborates with infrastructure and application teams to ensure continuous delivery of business outcomes, as well as to identify when it is necessary to evolve the business architecture.
  • Develops ecosystem and business capability models, value stream and customer journey maps to guide teams in developing their minimum marketable and minimum viable products, value propositions and drive business outcomes.
  • Construct business capabilities models, value stream models, business process models, customer journey maps, and other critical and relevant business architecture deliverables to help product managers and product owners make investment and change decisions in the product life cycle.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of a new business area.
  • Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage both technologists and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
