IT Business Partner

Job Description

By joining our Business Relation Management unit, you will work in a department of 14 people, specifically within the Demand Management team, which consists of two members. As an IT Business Partner, you will serve as the primary IT contact for processing requests from the Enabling Functions Business areas (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Refining business needs & Formalizing requirements
• Coordinating with relevant IT and business stakeholders to identify suitable solutions
• Drive the building of business Case

To achieve this, you will:

• Build strong relationships with both IT and business stakeholders (Enterprise Architects, Portfolio Managers, Solution & Domain Experts, Heads of Business Areas, Procurement, etc.).
• Acquire a thorough understanding of our internal processes and ecosystem.

By doing so, you will contribute to the preparation of budget plans and forecasts, as well as the operationalization of the company's IT strategy.

Given that the Demand Management process at Evotec is relatively new, you will also be expected to contribute to its continuous improvement by escalating needs and taking appropriate corrective actions when relevant.

You will be a good fit for this role if:

• You have experience in an IT department, whether as a consultant, IT Business Partner, Solution Expert or any relevant role you may see
• You are service-oriented
• You possess strong organizational skills
• You are comfortable working during periods of organizational change and restructuring
• You speak English fluently

Additional skills that are a plus:

• You speak French, German or Italian
• You have an interest or experience in a Life Science company
