Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power Power is seeking an IT Business Analyst in San Diego to support local operations with robust applications and IT solutions, including Oracle ERP and Microsoft Power BI. You will gather requirements, translate them into IT solutions, and manage the process from development through production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT as a business analyst with strong technical skills.
• 3+ years of experience with ASP.net programming or equivalent custom coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the custom developed applications and support related processes.
• Translate business requirements into new IT solutions to automate and scale operations.
• Make data available for Power BI reporting from Oracle ERP, Salesforce CRM, and other apps.
• Support IT controls, access, and compliance reporting for local applications, including Oracle ERP.
• Develop and maintain reports and product/shipping labels used by the business.
• Manage and resolve day-to-day IT support requests and create user guides.
