Job summary

As an IT business analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge solutions within our cloud-based Life Cycle Management Process-Integrated Data Environment (LCMP-IDE). Working with your team of requirements analysts, designers, developers, and testers and alongside experienced business analysts, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. You Have

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or process improvement practitioner
• Experience using Microsoft Products, including Visio and PowerPoint
• Experience with data visualization, such as process maps and frameworks
• Knowledge of SysML or similar modeling language
• Ability to conduct research and evaluate options for action
• Ability to independently assess existing system functionality, including user experience and data relationships
• Ability to present concepts, including verbal or written, to varied audiences using logical and persuasive language
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience performing root cause analyses or supporting rapid process improvement events
• Experience creating tickets and developing queries in Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of nuclear compatibility, surety, or operational processes
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of Air Force Instructions and Manuals
• Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking officials
• Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
