Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA, seeks an IT Business Analyst II to support enterprise specimen data management by enabling effective data integration and standardization across research, clinical, and biospecimen datasets.

You will lead data migration efforts, design SQL Server solutions, develop Python automation and REST API integrations, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes while delivering compliant, high-quality results in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT business analysis experience with enterprise applications.
• Experience with data migration, LIMS, and biospecimen data.
• Proficiency in Python and REST API integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across business, research, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration of biospecimen data into enterprise platforms.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server migration solutions and workflows.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and validation.
• Develop Python automation and API integrations to streamline processes.
• Provide project planning input, documentation, and end-user training.
