Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of IT systems and SAP; understanding of interfaces between SAP and third-party apps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to improve performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with planners, peers, and leadership.
• Experience bridging business and IT through systems support, requirements gathering and testing coordination.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Project management experience coordinating timelines, deliverables, and resources.
• Teamwork and culture fit with Smithfield's values.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for business users on system-related issues and coordinate with IT and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Define business requirements, develop functional specs, and create/execute test scenarios for enhancements and new implementations.
• Analyze existing processes to identify automation opportunities and drive efficiency.
• Support system implementations and upgrades with training materials and user sessions.
• Lead change readiness activities and establish super user forums for go-live readiness.
• Define priorities, manage timelines, allocate resources, and report progress to leadership.
• Provide application maintenance including troubleshooting and data corrections.
• Collaborate with partners to design and develop reports and dashboards for decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
