Job summary

TeleSolv Consulting in Washington, DC is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support enterprise technology solutions for the Government. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and help ensure solutions meet objectives.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, requirements development, Agile backlog management, sprint execution, testing and collaboration with developers, QA and other team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Five or more years of hands‑on IT business-analysis experience.
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements.
• Experience with Agile projects.
• Experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing and defect management.
• Experience working with technical development teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with Government stakeholders.
• Analyze and document functional and business requirements.
• Develop user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents.
• Manage and refine product backlogs and maintain backlog information in JIRA.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate among stakeholders, developers and QA/testing personnel.
• Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing.
• Document and track defects through resolution.
• Maintain program and application documentation in Confluence.
• Conduct business-process analysis and process modeling.
• Assist stakeholders with prioritizing requirements.
• Support application enhancements and new system capabilities.
• Assist development teams with interpreting business requirements.
