Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a contract with clients in San Antonio, TX, Findlay, OH, Los Angeles Refinery, CA, and Galveston Bay Refinery, TX. The role supports Product Quality and Operations Transformation by gathering requirements, managing vendor and stakeholder engagement, and driving software upgrades across refinery operations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with end users, offshore development teams, and internal IT stakeholders, and leverage Power BI or Tableau

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications and business processes.
• Experience working with COTS applications in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Refining, or other industrial environments supporting operational workflows.
• Strong experience collaborating with business users, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support Product Quality and Operations Transformation initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between end users, vendors, offshore development teams, and internal IT stakeholders.
• Support software upgrade deployments and ongoing enhancements for industrial COTS applications across refinery operations.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage vendor interactions, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Assist with reporting and system configuration activities using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to meet business needs.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and capacity planning activities within an Agile SDLC environment.

Rate Range

$40/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• San Antonio, TX: $45-$58/hr
• Findlay, OH: $40-$58/hr
• Galveston Bay Refinery: $45-$61/hr
• Los Angeles Refinery: $50-$75/hr

IT Business Analyst Responsibilities

Pay Details

$40.00 to $75.00 per hour
