Job summary

El Milagro is seeking a dependable IT Support Technician – Level 1 to deliver technical assistance across office, restaurant, manufacturing, and distribution locations in Chicago, IL. You will help users with hardware, software, account, printing, and connectivity issues while assisting in deployment and maintenance of computers and IT equipment.

The role requires working on-site with daily travel, strong customer service, and the ability to troubleshoot Windows systems and basic networking.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, hardware, networking, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees.

Job Summary

El Milagro is seeking a dependable and motivated IT Support Technician – Level 1 to provide technical support to employees across our office, restaurant, manufacturing, and distribution locations.

This role is responsible for assisting users with common hardware, software, account, printing, and connectivity issues, as well as supporting the deployment and maintenance of computers and other IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees.
• Troubleshoot Windows computers, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common software issues.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, user accounts, passwords, and access-related issues.
• Set up, configure, deploy, and replace computers and other IT equipment.
• Assist with basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting.
• Support printers, scanners, phones, and other workplace technology.
• Document supports requests and resolutions in the company's ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate inventory and equipment records.
• Assist senior IT staff with infrastructure, network, and technology deployment projects.
• Travel between El Milagro locations on a regular, daily basis.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish skills required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, Wi‑Fi, and common peripherals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using a logical and organized approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certification.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems such as GLPI, ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or similar platforms.
• Experience with VoIP systems, such as 8x8 and Microsoft Teams Phone.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• 1+ years of previous experience.
• Previous experience supporting users in a corporate IT environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $23/hr
