Job summary

Verigent is seeking an IT/AV Systems Engineer in Miami to support both IT and AV systems. The role requires strong Crestron, QSC, and Dante experience, plus hands‑on desktop support covering Active Directory, imaging, and troubleshooting.

You will work across conference rooms and enterprise networks, delivering remote and on-site assistance. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in enterprise IT/AV, solid Windows desktop experience, and a mix of networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT/AV systems support in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Crestron AV systems experience.
• Experience with QSC DSP and Dante networking.
• Strong Windows desktop support and AD administration.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi.
• Remote and onsite support capability.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Crestron AV control systems.
• Support QSC audio processing and DSP equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot Dante audio networks.
• Troubleshoot conference room systems and display devices.
• Perform AV system testing and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with AV deployments, upgrades, and replacements.
• Diagnose signal, connectivity, and control-system issues.
• Provide Tier 1-3 desktop and technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, and connectivity.
• Laptop imaging, reimaging, deployment, and configuration.
• Manage Active Directory users/computers and basic Group Policy issues.
• Provide onsite and remote support to users.
• Assist with hardware installations and asset management.

Summary:

Verigent's client is seeking an IT/AV Systems Engineer to provide hands‑on support across both information technology and audiovisual systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Crestron, QSC, and Dante, along with hands‑on desktop support skills including Active Directory, laptop imaging/reimaging, hardware/software troubleshooting, basic networking, and remote technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Crestron AV control systems.
• Support QSC audio processing, DSP, and related AV equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot Dante audio-over-IP systems and devices.
• Troubleshoot conference room systems, displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control interfaces.
• Perform AV system testing, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with AV system deployments, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Diagnose signal, connectivity, audio, video, and control-system issues.
• Provide Tier 1-3 desktop and technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, applications, and connectivity issues.
• Perform laptop imaging, reimaging, deployment, and configuration.
• Manage and troubleshoot users and computers within Active Directory.
• Assist with account provisioning, password resets, permissions, and basic Group Policy troubleshooting.
• Provide both onsite and remote technical support to users.
• Assist with hardware installations, replacements, upgrades, and asset management.
• Support IT projects, equipment refreshes, system upgrades, and new-user deployments.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience supporting IT and audiovisual systems in an enterprise or corporate environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Crestron AV systems.
• Experience with QSC audio/DSP platforms.
• Working knowledge of Dante audio networking.
• Strong desktop support experience with Windows PCs and laptops.
• Experience with Active Directory and user/computer administration.
• Hands‑on experience with laptop imaging and reimaging.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience providing remote and onsite technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
