Job summary

First Orion is seeking an Information Technology Internal Auditor in North Little Rock, AR to assess IT controls across infrastructure, networks, apps and databases. The role emphasizes governance, risk assessment, and internal control testing within a busy audit function.

You’ll perform ITGC and application-control evaluations, document evidence, lead planning and testing approaches, and communicate findings professionally to clients and the audit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional IT, cybersecurity, or IT audit experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of project/program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of internal audit engagements and validation procedures in line with audit methodology.
• Evaluate IT General Controls including access, change management, backups, scheduling, maintenance, and physical security.
• Evaluate application controls and user access using SQL and reporting tools.
• Prepare work papers and document audit evidence with process documentation and flowcharts.
• Lead development of audit planning memoranda, programs, and testing approaches.
• Lead writing of potential issues with root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations to improve operations.
• Organize work within budget and timelines; maintain professional client relationships.
• Perform special projects (investigations, risk assessments) as required.
• Collaborate across teams to gather information for internal audit objectives and update audit programs annually.
• Analyze internal audit data and trends to identify potential compliance violations and issue timely alerts.
