Job summary

Santander US is seeking a Supervisor, IT Audit to lead risk-based technology audits and assess design and operating effectiveness of controls across our technology landscape. The role includes coaching junior staff, adhering to auditing standards, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

You will participate in cloud environment audits, document testing, and draft actionable recommendations for senior management. Strong analytical skills and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years audit experience
• 5+ years relevant work experience
• Experience evaluating complex IT environments, processes, and technical controls
• Experience performing design and operating effectiveness testing of IT controls
• Experience reviewing audit workpapers
• Cloud environments experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of application controls, interfaces, automated controls, reports, and data integrity
• Familiarity with NIST/ISO/COBIT frameworks preferred
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Execute complex, risk-based technology audits and evaluate controls across the technology environment.
• Begin supervising and coaching less experienced team members.
• Perform timely and effective audit testing and ensure methodology compliance.
• Maintain professional relationships with audit stakeholders.
• Document audit testing and follow-up tasks.
• Review and challenge testing and work papers prepared by junior staff.
• Participate in cloud audits (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) where applicable.
• Draft audit recommendations for presentation to Audit Manager.
• Contribute to design of audit test steps.
• Conduct post-audit follow-up on corrective actions.
