Job summary

Tanium is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead and mature its audit program, guiding a distributed team across functions. The role partners with leadership, external assessors, and stakeholders to keep the compliance program audit-ready and effective.

You will develop methodologies, drive remediation of control gaps, and monitor KPIs. A hybrid in-person schedule is required in Addison, TX or other supported sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred.
• Experience leading audit or compliance in similar roles.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800 series, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II.
• Exposure to audits like EU, PCI-DSS, GDPR and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Tanium’s audit program.
• Develop and implement audit methodology, processes, and templates.
• Lead and coach a globally distributed team of auditors.
• Identify, track, and report on audit KPIs to leadership.
• Review audit reports for quality and actionable remediation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assessors on logistics.
• Ensure action plans for gaps identified during risk assessments and audits.
• Advise senior leadership on findings and risk mitigation approaches.
• Monitor emerging laws and regulations impacting the audit program.
• Partner across departments to implement audit principles.
