Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an experienced Manager, IT Audit Services in Charlotte, NC. You will lead risk-based IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technology audits across the enterprise, guiding audit strategy and delivery with a focus on data analytics and AI-enabled techniques.

You will manage teams, collaborate across Corporate Audit Services, and coordinate with external auditors. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of IT auditing/technology risk experience.
• Advanced certifications such as CISA/CISSP/CISM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technology audits across the enterprise.
• Develop risk-based audit plans and adjust priorities as business needs evolve.
• Plan and manage internal audit efforts with appropriate methodologies.
• Ensure high-quality audit deliverables within time budgets.
• Foster collaboration within Corporate Audit Services and with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of AI, data analytics, and digital transformation in audits.
• Demonstrate leadership in building a high-performing audit team.
