Job summary

Duke Energy's Corporate Audit Services is seeking a Manager of IT Audit Services to lead risk-based IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technology audits across the enterprise in Charlotte, NC. The role reports to a Director and requires travel up to 15% annually.

Responsibilities include building a high-performing team, shaping audit strategy, and delivering high-quality audit reports within time budgets while coordinating with management, external auditors, and regulators as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex audit, risk, compliance, or technology-related initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, technology controls, and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technology audits across the enterprise.
• Develop risk-based IT and cybersecurity audit plans aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Plan and manage internal audit efforts with appropriate approaches and methods.
• Ensure high-quality audit results and timely delivery of reports.
• Foster collaboration within Corporate Audit Services and with business stakeholders.
