Royal Credit Union is seeking an IT Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in information systems auditing, security, and data integrity within our Audit Services Department in Eau Claire, WI. Under the Chief Internal Auditor, you will perform or assist in audits focused on technology, security and compliance, and support technology-driven projects to improve processes.

• Enrolled at a university pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• Must be bondable upon hire.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits focused on information systems, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Evaluate internal controls and prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing for external audits and maintaining organized audit documentation.
• Analyzing continuous monitoring reports and following up on previous audit recommendations.
• Supporting departmental administrative functions and contributing to innovation and process improvements.
