Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Audit Intern for Summer and/or Fall 2027. You will support IT audit engagements, assist with SOX reviews, and help document risks and controls across subsidiaries.

The role offers paid hours and flexible scheduling to align with college semesters. Ideal candidates are pursuing IT/IS/Cybersecurity/Business degrees with a 3.25+ GPA, strong communication skills, and familiarity with data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university for undergrad or graduate studies.
• GPA of 3.25+ and strong communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with business systems and data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IT audits and SOX compliance reviews.
• Work with audit management to conduct engagements at subsidiaries.
• Help document findings and draft audit reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior auditors and external partners on IT matters.
• Support design of AI/agentic automation to improve audit efficiency.
