Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant (SOC focus) to join our Risk Advisory practice. You will work with client executives to assess financial and operational risks in technology systems, and help implement controls and processes to reduce risk across IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop audit programs, draft executive summaries, and collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management/computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or related program.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certifications preferred.
• 3+ year(s) experience with control testing, SOC reporting, and IT Audit or cybersecurity.
• Experience with Cloud audit experience and certifications preferred.
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' businesses and identify financial and operational risks within their business systems to ensure technology risks are managed.
• Provide strategic business assurance by assisting in implementation of new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess, manage and optimize information technology risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, IT regulatory and compliance requirements, and business continuity.
• Assist in the development of audit programs and execution of IT control assessments (ITGC, application controls, SOC reporting, etc.).
• Draft comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for client delivery, reviewing engagement work papers.
• Develop knowledge and experience across various technology environments, platforms, applications and tools/utilities.
