Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a qualified auditor to perform SOC audits and ITGC support, with exposure to HITRUST and ISO engagements. You will learn client platform structures and control environments, applying professional skepticism to evaluate evidence and identify improvements.

The role requires foundational IT and accounting knowledge, experience in SOC-related work, and the ability to document deficiencies for client communications. CPA/CISA preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, MIS, IT, or related field.
• 1 year of Public Accounting experience, with exposure to SOC, HITRUST, or ISO engagements.
• Ability to document deficiencies and communicate weaknesses to clients.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform SOC audits, along with ITGCs support, HITRUST certifications, and ISO assessments.
• Learn the client's platform structure, security, and software.
• Learn the client's system and control environment and how it impacts customer users.
• Exercise professional skepticism in the critical assessment of audit evidence.
• Possess knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX-based OS, SQL and other databases, cloud environments, and security best practices.
• Evaluate assigned areas of fieldwork and identify potential improvements.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses related to engagements.
• Know and apply SOC Trust Services Criteria and SOC report framework, and the AICPA ethics rules.
