Job summary

The TECO Energy Student Program invites college students to gain real-world experience in IT asset and vendor management through a hands-on co-op at Tampa Electric Company in Tampa, FL. You’ll work on technology purchases, SAP invoice processing, and RFIs/RFPs under guidance.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a university co-op or internship program; GPA 3.0 required.
• Preferred disciplines: Engineering, IT, Finance, CS.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; knowledge of Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT asset purchases with business units and Technology teams.
• Process SAP invoices and deliveries for technology assets.
• Develop and assist in RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs under guidance of Corporate Purchasing and Contracts.
• Assist in vendor relations management and related tasks.
