Job summary

The Tampa Electric Company invites college students to join the TECO Energy Student Program as a Spring 2027 Property Accounting Co-Op. You will assist in property, plant and equipment activities, including project analysis, reconciliation and depreciation reporting.

Eligible applicants are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in finance, business or accounting programs, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, available 20-30 hours per week and able to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a college/university in a related discipline.
• GPA minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Co-op or internship eligibility if co-op program is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Review CWIP work orders to plan in-service dates for assets.
• Complete unitization of work orders to proper depreciation accounts.
• Calculate, analyze and report on monthly AFUDC and depreciation.
• Assist in monthly closeout activities.
