Job summary

EPC, a leading IT asset disposition company, is seeking dedicated professionals in Wright City, MO to process IT assets, perform testing and repairs, and ensure data sanitization. The role requires handling servers, networking gear, and data center hardware with strict security and quality controls. No remote work; on-site facility operations.

Starting wage is $17.51 per hour. Benefits include PTO, healthcare, 401K matching, and extensive training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mobile Repair certification preferred.
• Experience with IT assets, data center hardware, and testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Process IT assets in accordance with documented procedures and meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Perform testing, diagnostics, and cosmetic or hardware repairs on mobile devices and other specialty products ensuring full functionality and data sanitization.
• Verify customer requirements and apply testing, data removal, and reset procedures for equipment including servers, networking, Cisco, SAN, and data center hardware.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify hardware failures, configuration issues, and defects.
• Document testing results, issues, system logs, asset status, and data erasure records in EPC systems.
• Conduct asset sorting, tracking, and evaluation to determine resale eligibility or disposition.
• Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, and software applications to support hardware processing and documentation.
• Identify and report process deviations, defects, or recurring issues to supervisors for continuous improvement.
• Maintain adherence to data security, quality control, and compliance standards during processing.
• Handle equipment in the warehouse, including unpacking, wrapping, palletizing, and transporting with carts or pallet jacks.
• Assist with additional tasks to meet operational needs.
