The IT Asset Manager is responsible for managing the software and technology-related hardware assets within the organization. They will ensure compliance with vendor contracts by monitoring and recording software licenses and hardware assets. The IT Asset Manager will develop procurement strategies to optimize technology spend and implement procedures to track company assets throughout their lifecycles. They will gather and analyze data on digital technology asset life cycles, provide analysis of activities impacting asset value, cost, and risk, and oversee the organization's response to software vendor license compliance audits. The IT Asset Manager will also establish best practices for tracking and analyzing software and hardware, and make recommendations for cost-saving strategies. Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills are required for this role, along with prior experience in IT asset management. A bachelor's degree is required, and the ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
