Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to manage enterprise hardware and software across the organization, ensuring compliance and optimization.

In this role you will own the purchasing process for DT hardware and software, manage license renewals with major vendors, coordinate lifecycle replacements with end-user support, and drive CMDB accuracy and standardized reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent.
  • Five+ years of experience in Information Technology, or in a related area.
  • Relevant industry certifications.
  • IT experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Contract negotiation.
  • Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, ServiceNow and Apptio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise hardware and software across the organization.
  • Own the process for purchasing DT hardware and software.
  • Owns enterprise software license and software maintenance renewals, including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM and others.
  • Coordinate PC hardware lifecycle replacement with end user support and vendor management.
  • Manage license compliance audit activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the CMDB as it relates to hardware and software inventory.
  • Partner with vendor management and end user support to manage PC hardware leases.
  • Develop processes, policies, standards and measurements for the IT asset portfolio.
  • Analyze KPI/metric information and standardized reporting for asset inventory.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the lifecycle of all IT assets.
  • Collaborate with vendor management to optimize technology spend.
  • Research industry best practices and improve internal processes.
  • Apply continuous improvement to asset spend strategies.
  • Manage incident and request tasks for asset management in ServiceNow.
  • Provide knowledge sharing and mentoring within the DT team.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
