LSU Health Sciences Center is seeking an IT Applications Support Analyst 3 to support the PeopleSoft Financials system. The role provides functional expertise during upgrades, testing, and maintenance, and leads end-user training.

Works within the Functional Help Desk and aligns with LSUHSC policies. Based in Shreveport, LA, the position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of ERP experience, preferably Oracle/PeopleSoft, with strong customer-facing skills and ability to guide users through

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under the general direction of the IT Applications Support Coordinator, serves to support the PeopleSoft Financials system operated by LSUHSC. Incumbent provides necessary expertise in the functional aspects of supporting, upgrading and maintaining the software system. Serves as part of the Functional Help Desk by assisting the end-user communities; provides leadership to the users during upgrades, testing, maintenance, and modifications. Performs demonstrations and trains users as needed. Provides guidance on LSUHSC policies and procedures that relate to PeopleSoft Financials.

This position will be based in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's

Required Field of Study:Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Public Admin., Hospital Admin., Human Resources, Information Technology or related field.

Number of years required to perform the job:Two

Type of experience required to perform the job:Experience with implementation, upgrade, and/or production support of Oracle/PeopleSoft or similar ERP system.

Substitution:4 Years Product Support PeopleSoft with any Bachelor's degree may substitute for a degree specified in the required field of study.

Preferred Experience:4 years' experience with implementation upgrade, and/or production support of Oracle/PeopleSoft or similar ERP system. Relevant experience in an academic and/or healthcare environment.
