Job summary

Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. in Monroe, GA is seeking an IT professional to support production systems administration. You will assist with BI dashboards, reporting, and database administration across multiple facilities in the region, reporting to the regional lead. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent IT experience or certificates.
• Proficient in programming languages to support end-user reporting requirements (C#, VB.NET, JavaScript).
• Experience with SQL databases and basic network configuration.
• Understanding of Microsoft productivity software.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position will support the Information Technology department relating to production systems administration. Provide ancillary support for BI Dashboards, Reporting, and Database Administration. This position will support many facilities within the region and report to the regional lead within this function. Some travel may be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Administrate and support IT Production Systems to include Line Side Labeling, Traceability, IoT, and other systems as assigned.
• Support for report and dashboard creation to include an understanding of the underlying data, data structure, and business terminology.
• Using a variety of BI tools to include SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Tableau, Power BI and others as applicable.
• Provide support to monitor, troubleshoot and tune existing databases.
• Provide support to troubleshoot existing programs to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support for in-house developed systems.
• Perform testing of programming development.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and testing the Disaster Recovery Plan.
