Job summary

A technology solutions company located in East Aurora, New York is seeking an experienced developer to provide support for .NET based manufacturing applications. This permanent position requires proficiency in VB6, VB .Net, ASP .Net, and SQL Server, along with strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should expect to monitor applications and handle support requests, ensuring a smooth operation of shop floor applications. This role includes 24X7 support and collaboration with customers.

Qualifications

• Working experience in VB6/VB.Net/ASP.Net application support and development.
• Experience with SQL server 2000/2005/2008/2012.
• Good knowledge in Crystal reporting & TSQL is preferred.
• Knowledge of OPC, LIMS, SAP interfacing will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers in maintenance and support for .NET based manufacturing applications.
• Monitor .NET applications.
• Fix and support database issues.
• Investigate various issues reported by users.
• Manage change requests.
• Provide status reports to management.
• Provide 24X7 application support.
